The English dictionary describes beauty as "the quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with the such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness and originality."
With this definition the words "excellence of artistry" and "truthfulness and originality" stand out to me the most. That's the kind of beauty I want to shine through me! I wanna be true to the way God made me as much as I can.
A lot of the people around me we quite upset with my decision to go natural but, it still is my decision to make. I hear the remarks and it just highlights their own insecurities. I love my hair it defines me!
