Hi, I my name is Josanne and I and from Trinidad and Tobago. I love my island and more so the Island life. I have been doing a lot of research about naturally beautiful women of the Caribbean. I was dissappointed to find a lot of women not being confident in themslves, tring to change their hair, face, bodies, personaliteis to conform to a society that never seems to be satisfied.
I too was apart of that generation of caribbean women longing to find that place where I felt as though I belonged. I have decided to change my views, my thoughts, my life and become the beautiful woman I know I can be from the inside out! (Not the other way around).
This blog is about being proud of who you are no matter creed or race. I believe that true beauty shines from within. I have taken a natural hair journey and I hope that my journey helps someone to feel better about themsleves and inturn encourage other women to do the same.
